Job Description – BIM Coordinator (Architecture Profile)

Overview:
We are looking for a BIM Coordinator to oversee and streamline BIM processes across project sites in Singapore. The BIM Coordinator will ensure that BIM implementation aligns with project objectives, manage BIM-related tasks, and facilitate effective communication among project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
BIM Management: Oversee the on-site implementation and management of BIM standards and protocols, ensuring consistency and compliance with project requirements.
Coordination: Facilitate collaboration between various project teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure seamless integration of BIM processes.
Model Management: Coordinate the development and updating of BIM models, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to LOD standards.
Clash Detection: Perform clash detection and resolution to identify and address conflicts between discipline models.
Training and Support: Provide guidance and training to on-site personnel on BIM processes and tools, ensuring effective use and understanding.
Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the main point of contact for BIM-related issues, manage client expectations, and address stakeholder queries.
Reporting: Prepare and present BIM-related reports, including progress updates, model reviews, and issue resolutions.
Bridge Between Teams: Act as a key liaison between on-site and off-site teams to ensure effective communication and information exchange. Facilitate resolution of project issues by coordinating efforts, sharing critical updates, and ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and informed.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) as a BIM Coordinator or in a similar role, with strong understanding of BIM processes and project management.
• Expertise in BIM software tools (e.g., Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360).
• Solid knowledge of LOD, BIM standards, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a global environment.
