Responsibilities:
1.On-Site BIM Implementation:
- Collaborate closely with the Project BIM Manager and construction teams to facilitate the on-site implementation of BIM processes.
- Ensure seamless coordination of 3D models and BIM data to support construction planning and execution.
2.Model Coordination:
- Conduct regular clash detection analyses on BIM models to identify and resolve coordination issues.
- Collaborate with design and construction teams to address clashes and optimize construction workflows.
3.BIM Data Management:
- Assist in the organization and management of BIM data relevant to the on-site construction phase.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of BIM models, drawings, and associated documentation.
4.Collaborative Communication:
- Facilitate effective communication between on-site personnel, BIM managers, and design teams.
- Act as a liaison to resolve coordination challenges promptly and foster a collaborative BIM environment.
5.Training and Support:
- Provide on-site training and support to construction teams on BIM tools and coordination workflows.
- Address and resolve BIM-related issues encountered during the construction process.
6.Quality Assurance:
- Assist in the implementation of quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with BIM standards and project specifications.
- Conduct regular reviews of BIM models for accuracy and completeness.
Job Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or Building Services Engineering, or a related field.
- Formally trained in BIM (Diploma or Training certification), preferably with at least two (1) year of BIM coordination or BIM management experience in a design, engineering or construction firm or a large project.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in BIM management, with a focus on on-site implementation.
- Proficient in BIM software, including but not limited to Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
- Experience in clash detection and resolution workflows.
- Familiarity with LTA project requirements and a solid understanding of the specific demands of transportation infrastructure projects in Singapore.
- Proven experience working on construction sites, with a deep understanding of on-site challenges and dynamics.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively convey BIM-related concepts to on-site teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster collaboration among diverse project stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address coordination challenges effectively.
- Proactive mindset to anticipate and resolve potential BIM-related issues.
- Ability to adapt to evolving project requirements and changes in construction plans.
- Flexibility to work in a dynamic and fast-paced construction site environment.
