Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and issue invoices for construction works (progress claims, milestone billing, variation orders).
  • Verify subcontractor and supplier invoices against purchase orders, delivery orders, and contracts.
  • Ensure all supporting documents (timesheets, work completion reports, delivery notes) are attached.
  • Track project billing schedules and ensure timely invoicing.
  • Coordinate with site engineers, quantity surveyors, and project managers for invoice validation.
  • Follow up on outstanding payments and maintain accounts receivable records.
  • Assist in resolving billing discrepancies and disputes.
  • Maintain proper filing (digital & physical) of invoices and related documents.
  • Update accounting systems with invoice details accurately.
  • Support audits by providing necessary billing documentation.

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in invoicing, preferably in construction or engineering industry.
  • Familiarity with progress billing and contract-based invoicing.

Preferred Knowledge

  • Understanding of construction terms like BOQ (Bill of Quantities), variation orders, and progress claims
  • Experience working with contractors, subcontractors, and consultants
