My client, a leading International Law Firm are looking for an experienced Bid Manager to join either their Hong Kong or Singapore team.
Key Duties
- Opportunity analysis – assessing and evaluating whether the time spent on bidding will be a good return on investment and in line with firm and sector strategy
- Client engagement – at scoping and debrief, understand client needs, maintaining open and responsive communication during bid preparation, and conducting debriefs post-submission to gather feedback and strengthen client relationships
- Internal stakeholder engagement – collaborating proactively with lead bid partners and / or relevant teams to foster seamless teamwork, ensuring that everyone is aligned on bid strategy, deliverables, and timelines. Facilitate regular communication and knowledge sharing across regions, aligning processes, messaging, and best practices
- External stakeholder engagement – when third-party involvement is required, take responsibility for coordinating and managing input, ensuring that all contributions are integrated and meet bid requirements and objectives
- Project / bid management – managing the bids process from start to finish
- Monitoring opportunities – act as central point of contact for external tender portals, responsible for notifying the business on relevant opportunities
- Co-designing bid strategy – working with bid teams to identify key themes and messages
- Creative design and drafting – producing high quality documents (document and interview stage). Using our business development tools to collate the most relevant material efficiently
- Coaching senior leaders – contributing to rehearsals during a tender process and taking ownership of supporting materials
- Coaching junior BD&M team members – deepening their understanding of best practice bid processes
- Content management – maintaining and enhancing pre-written content, guides and other standard materials to expand and improve our automated content library
- Reporting – producing reports and analysis of bid activity to inform business decisions
- Other projects – involvement in internal projects to improve bid information flow, analysis and best practice within the firm
Fluent in English (writing and speaking) and Chinese language (writing and speaking) – Required
