About the Role
An established organisation within the integrated services and project solutions space is seeking a commercially minded professional to support strategic growth initiatives through effective bid management and commercial planning.
This role will be responsible for overseeing tender submissions, pricing strategies, proposal development, and stakeholder coordination across multiple business functions. The ideal candidate is analytical, commercially aware, and experienced in managing competitive bid processes within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Growth & Client Engagement
- Support business growth initiatives by identifying and evaluating new opportunities across targeted sectors
- Contribute to client engagement efforts through proposal presentations, solution discussions, and commercial submissions
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Tender & Commercial Management
- Manage the end-to-end tender and proposal process, from opportunity assessment through submission and post-submission review
- Develop pricing models, commercial proposals, and cost analyses to ensure commercially viable and competitive submissions
- Review operational, financial, and market data to support strategic pricing decisions and bid recommendations
- Prepare commercially sound proposals aligned with business objectives and client requirements
Stakeholder Coordination
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including operations, finance, procurement, technical, and support functions to ensure alignment on submissions
- Coordinate timelines, documentation, approvals, and compliance requirements for tender activities
- Ensure all submissions are completed accurately and within deadlines
Market Intelligence & Industry Engagement
- Monitor market trends, competitor movements, and industry developments to support business planning and opportunity positioning
- Conduct benchmarking and commercial evaluations to support strategic decision-making and bid positioning
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in bid management, tender management, business development, or commercial strategy
- Prior exposure to engineering, technical services, integrated solutions, infrastructure, facilities services, or project-based environments will be advantageous
- Excellent stakeholder management, presentation, and communication skills
- Experience in pricing analysis, commercial modelling, proposal preparation, and tender submissions
- Strong analytical and stakeholder management capabilities
- Commercially astute, analytical, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related discipline preferred
