Overview
The Bicycle Mechanic Supervisor will oversee a team of mechanics in the maintenance and repair of shared bicycles. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to ensuring that bicycles are safe and in good working order for use by the public.
Responsibilities
- Supervise a team of mechanics responsible for maintaining and repairing shared bicycles
- Ensure that bicycles are properly maintained and repaired promptly
- Monitor inventory levels of parts and supplies, and order as needed
- Train mechanics on proper maintenance and repair techniques
- Conduct regular quality control inspections to ensure that bicycles are safe and in good working order
- Prepare monthly repair reports for management evaluation
- Review workplace safety standards
- Assist in import and export coordination
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in bicycle maintenance and repair
- At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role
- Technical expertise in bicycle mechanics and repair techniques
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of safety regulations and standards related to bicycles
