Join SEMI Integration as a Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer to transform complex manufacturing data into actionable insights that optimize automated factory performance in a high-volume industrial environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain robust ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) scripts to integrate data from diverse manufacturing systems into a centralized data warehouse
- Architect efficient relational and object-oriented database schemas optimized for high-speed industrial data processing
- Develop high-performance dashboards and reports using Power BI to monitor factory operational health and equipment efficiency
- Automate data processing workflows and system health checks using programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#
- Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to ensure seamless data flow and integration across the Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) ecosystem
- Communicate effectively in English and Chinese to coordinate with regional stakeholders and technical teams
Required competencies and certifications
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in Data Engineering or Business Intelligence development
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience with object-oriented database schemas
- Proven ability to develop custom ETL scripts for data integration
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, C#, or Java) for data manipulation and automation
- Strong skills in Power BI for data visualization and reporting
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related Engineering discipline
- Effective bilingual communication skills in English and Chinese to support collaboration in a regional manufacturing environment

- Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing operations to enhance contextual understanding of data and processes
