We Are Looking For
We are hiring a Business Development Manager to drive the growth of Gate Pay
through stablecoin payment adoption and high-volume crypto settlement. In this role, you
will leverage your OTC and stablecoin network to onboard merchants, financial
platforms, and institutional clients onto Gate Pay — converting real trading relationships
into scalable payment volume.
This is a commercially driven role for individuals who have operated at the intersection
of OTC trading, stablecoin flows, and cross-border settlement, and are ready to build the
next layer of crypto payment infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Leverage existing OTC and stablecoin networks to source and onboard merchants, platforms, and institutional payment clients onto Gate Pay
- Drive high-volume stablecoin payment flows (USDT/USDC/other) across cross- border settlement, remittance, and e-commerce use cases
- Identify and close partnerships with OTC desks, stablecoin issuers, liquidity providers, PSPs, and fintech platforms that can channel volume through Gate Pay
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of crypto-native and Web2 merchants with high- volume payment needs
- Own the full BD cycle from prospecting to closing, integration, and ongoing GMV growth
- Collaborate with internal product and compliance teams to structure deals that meet regulatory and operational requirements across APAC markets
- Stay ahead of stablecoin payment trends, competitor moves, and emerging merchant segments
Requirements
- 3+ years of BD or sales experience in crypto OTC, stablecoin payments, or digital asset settlement
- Proven track record of driving transaction volume — whether through OTC desk sales, stablecoin BD, or merchant payment partnerships
- Strong existing network in at least one of: OTC trading desks, stablecoin issuers/distributors, crypto-native merchants, or cross-border payment platforms
- Deep understanding of stablecoin payment flows, on/off-ramp mechanics, and crypto settlement infrastructure
- Ability to convert relationships into measurable GMV and revenue
- Strong execution ability with a results-driven, hunter mindset
- Fluency in English and Mandarin
