Job Summary
Manage and support PB batch job scheduling, execution, and monitoring across project lifecycles. Collaborate with technical teams to resolve issues, produce documentation, and ensure smooth production handover while adhering to regulatory and company standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage PB batch jobs by setting up, scheduling, executing, and monitoring them throughout Development, SIT, and UAT project phases
- Monitor batch job performance and provide operational support by identifying and resolving job failures, overruns, or missed executions
- Document batch job incidents in JIRA and collaborate with developers to investigate root causes and implement solutions
- Prepare detailed batch execution and run-status reports to support testing, validation, and management reporting requirements
- Develop and maintain batch execution Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure smooth and compliant production handover
- Produce clear and comprehensive documentation and conduct knowledge transfer sessions for the production support team after project cutover
- Collaborate closely with developers, system analysts, and architects to design and implement technical solutions that comply with security, regulatory, and architectural standards
- Work on shift schedules, including overnight shifts, to support end-of-day batch execution for PB projects
Required competencies and certifications
- Solid understanding of PB system flow and dependencies to support batch scheduling, execution, and monitoring effectively
- Experience with Temenos Wealthsuite Front Office / Triple'A Plus
- Proficiency in Red Hat Linux, AIX, and Shell scripting for batch job management
- Knowledge of Oracle, Sybase, and SQL databases for data handling and batch processing
- Experience using Control-M for batch job scheduling and automation
- Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and Remedy for incident tracking, documentation, and collaboration
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
- At least 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in a financial institution
