Job Summary
The Bartender supports bar operations by assisting in beverage preparation, serving members and guests, and maintaining bar cleanliness while delivering friendly and professional service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following standard recipes and portion control to ensure consistent quality
- Set up and restock bar supplies before and during service to maintain smooth operations
- Clean and sanitize the bar area and equipment to uphold hygiene and safety standards
- Provide courteous and professional service to members and guests to enhance their experience
- Follow health, safety, and responsible alcohol service regulations to ensure compliance
- Collaborate with team members to support overall bar operations and service efficiency
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Basic knowledge or interest in bartending and beverages to support learning and performance
- Prior experience in food and beverage or hospitality to contribute to effective service
- Willingness to learn with a positive attitude to adapt and grow in the role
- Good communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with colleagues
- Ability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays, to meet operational needs
