barista supervisor

we are Vietnamese restaurant looking for Barista supervisor responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the beverage station, ensuring consistent beverage quality, maintaining excellent customer service standards, supervising barista staff, and ensuring compliance with food safety and workplace hygiene regulations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Beverage Preparation

• Prepare coffee, tea, smoothies, juices, and other beverages according to company recipes and standards.

• Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control.

• Develop and improve beverage offerings when required.

• Monitor beverage quality before serving customers.

2. Team Supervision

• Supervise and coordinate the daily work of baristas.

• Assign work schedules and station duties.

• Train new baristas on beverage preparation, customer service, hygiene, and equipment usage.

• Monitor employee performance and provide coaching to improve productivity and service quality.

• Ensure staff maintain professional appearance and behavior.

3. Customer Service

• Deliver friendly, efficient, and professional customer service.

• Handle customer enquiries, special requests, and complaints promptly.

• Resolve service issues and escalate major concerns to management when necessary.

• Promote beverages and recommend menu items to customers.

4. Inventory Management

• Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, tea, milk, syrups, fruits, cups, and other supplies.

• Prepare inventory reports and submit purchase requests.

• Receive deliveries and verify product quality and quantity.

• Minimize wastage through proper stock rotation (FIFO) and inventory control.

5. Equipment Maintenance

• Ensure coffee machines, grinders, blenders, refrigerators, and other equipment are clean and functioning properly.

• Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance.

• Report equipment faults and arrange servicing when necessary.

6. Food Safety & Hygiene

• Ensure compliance with Singapore Food Agency (SFA) food safety regulations.

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness in beverage preparation areas.

• Ensure proper food handling, storage temperatures, and sanitation practices.

• Follow Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements at all times.
