We are looking for a passionate and reliable Barista to join our team. You will be the face of our cafe, responsible for crafting high-quality coffee and beverages, and providing a warm, welcoming experience for our customers. This role is ideal for those who enjoy the morning bustle and value their evenings free.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coffee Crafting: Dial-in espresso grinders, calibrate machines and prepare a variety of coffee beverage to consistent standards
- Morning Setup: Efficiently open the bar and ensure the station is ready for the 8.00 am opening.
- Customer Service: Greet customers, take orders accurately via the POS system and provide recommendations.
- Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organised work station, perform daily cleaning of the espresso machine and grinders.
- Inventory: Monitor milk and bean stock levels and report shortages to the manager.
- Safety: Ensure all food handling and hygiene practices meet SFA (Singapore Food Agency) requirements.
Job Requirements:
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience as a Barista
- Certification: Valid Food Safety Course Level 1 certificate
- Attributes: Punctual, proactive and able to work well under pressure during peak periods.
- Communication: Fluent in English to interact with a diverse customer base.
- CommitmentL Able to commit to the 7.30 am to 5.00 pm schedule.
