We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Banking PMO professional to support the successful execution of strategic banking programs and projects. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in managing project financials, reporting, and stakeholder coordination, especially in the Corporate Banking domain. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, vendors, and clients to ensure timely and budget-conscious delivery of high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate internal teams and external vendors to ensure flawless execution of banking projects.
- Manage and track project financials including budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking.
- Oversee resource allocation across onshore and offshore teams.
- Maintain and update detailed project plans to monitor progress and milestones.
- Prepare weekly/monthly status report decks for internal and client communications.
- Develop and manage documentation such as charters, RAID logs, project initiation documents, etc.
- Monitor and control changes to project scope, timelines, and costs using established change control processes.
- Input and manage data across project management tools and reporting dashboards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, third-party vendors, and clients.
- Ensure accurate and comprehensive project documentation is maintained for audit and reporting purposes.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Technology, or Finance.
- 5+ years of total experience, with 46 years in PMO or Project Coordination roles.
- Experience working on banking projects, preferably in Corporate Banking.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including modeling) and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with workflow-based projects and process re-engineering initiatives.
- Understanding of project governance, tracking tools, and standard reporting practices.
Preferred
- Exposure to banking platforms like Salesforce,CGI,Finastra,SWIFT ISO,Bancs,Oracle Core Banking, or FIS Lending.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies, with a Scrum Master certification being a plus.
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification.
- Experience supporting complex program management or transformation projects.
