We are seeking an experienced Project Assurance Manager to lead and embed project assurance across a regional APAC banking portfolio. This role provides independent oversight to ensure projects meet governance, risk, quality, and delivery standards in line with Head Office policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage project assurance activities across APAC regional and country-level projects.
- Define and apply appropriate assurance levels based on project complexity and risk.
- Act as the regional authority on project assurance standards and practices.
- Partner with Project Managers to embed assurance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate assurance planning and reviews across the project portfolio.
- Consolidate assurance findings, track remediation actions, and report outcomes to senior management.
- Monitor project health, risks, issues, and key performance indicators.
- Engage senior stakeholders, country teams, and HO second-line assurance functions.
- Drive continuous improvement and best practices in project assurance.
Requirements
- 1015 years experience in project management and/or project assurance, preferably within banking or financial services.
- PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification (or in progress).
- Strong knowledge of project governance, risk, and assurance frameworks.
- Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills.
- Experience working with regional teams and complex vendor environments.
- Second language preferred but not mandatory.
