Job Summary

The Business Supporting Officer/System Project Manager will drive system optimization and digital transformation initiatives within the bank's operations. You will lead cross-functional projects to enhance system functionality, improve operational efficiency, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate system enhancement projects by gathering requirements, conducting functional testing, and verifying business outcomes to ensure successful system upgrades
  • Represent the bank's operational interests in industry work group meetings and follow up on action items to influence industry standards and practices
  • Drive digital transformation by supporting the implementation and localization of operational systems, enhancing departmental capabilities
  • Optimize system functionality and operational processes by identifying improvement opportunities, drafting operational manuals, and delivering internal training sessions to build team competency
  • Prepare, analyze, and submit accurate statistical, monitoring, and regulatory reports within established deadlines to support compliance and decision-making
  • Provide proactive daily business support by resolving operational issues and assisting with tasks assigned by the Department Head to maintain smooth operations
  • Maintain high standards of compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements to safeguard operational integrity

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Knowledge of local payment systems such as MEPS+, GIRO, FAST, PayNow, and eGIRO, demonstrated through participation in industry exercises
  • Familiarity with data analysis techniques and reporting tools to support data-driven decision-making
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to produce professional documentation and presentations
