Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Credit Documentation Review: Evaluate structural terms in Facility Agreements and Letters of Offer to ensure full alignment with approved credit decisions.
- System Integrity Management: Input and configure critical credit covenants into the bank's loan organisation system with zero margin for error.
- ESG & Sustainability Monitoring: Onboard and track specialized documentation for sustainability-linked financing and green loans.
- Covenant Compliance Control: Conduct routine compliance audits across financial metrics, time-stamped deadlines, and security-based covenants.
- Collateral Valuation: Perform regular mark-to-market (MTM) valuations on financial collateral (such as equities, bonds, or cash) to track portfolio exposure.
- Credit Limit Adjustments: Trigger and execute system changes for limit adjustments based on collateral price fluctuations and margin requirements.
- Risk Mitigation: Escalate covenant breaches, documentation discrepancies, and collateral shortfalls to Credit Risk and Relationship Managers.
Job Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Experience: Proven track record in Credit Administration, Loan Operations, or Credit Control within a corporate or commercial bank.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of wholesale banking products, corporate loan structures, and security/collateral documentation.
- ESG Literacy: Familiarity with sustainability financing frameworks and specialized green lending covenants.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret complex legal credit agreements and financial data for system translation.
- Systems Experience: Hands-on experience using institutional loan origination systems and market data terminals (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters) for MTM checks.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous accuracy in data entry and data verification to prevent operational and credit losses.
