Position: Backend Technician (12-month Contract, Renewable)
Location: Ang Mo Kio
Working Hours: 12-hour shift pattern
Job Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, conversion, and repair of semiconductor backend equipment.
- Carry out preventive maintenance and calibration to ensure equipment reliability.
- Support equipment troubleshooting and continuous improvement activities.
- Work closely with engineers and production teams to maintain equipment performance.
- Support backend semiconductor inspection/test processes and related equipment activities.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Support other engineering and maintenance duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum Nitec or Diploma in any Engineering or Technical discipline.
- Experience in backend semiconductor inspection/test processes is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with VITROX Scanner, ICOS, or MicroVision equipment is an advantage.
- Experience in an electronics or semiconductor manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Able to work independently and troubleshoot equipment-related issues.
- Basic troubleshooting skills and willingness to learn.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
