Responsibilities
- Lead backend development and provide technical guidance to the engineering team
- Design and develop scalable, secure, and high performance backend systems on AWS Cloud
- Architect and implement microservices based solutions and RESTful APIs
- Work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Manage system integration across multiple applications and services
- Ensure application performance, reliability, scalability, and security standards are met
- Perform code reviews and enforce engineering best practices
- Support production systems, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis
- Drive CI CD implementation and improve deployment automation processes
- Mentor and support junior and mid level engineers
- Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams for cloud optimization and operations
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience in backend development and cloud based applications
- Strong hands on experience with AWS Cloud services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, and DynamoDB
- Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js
- Experience in designing and implementing microservices architecture
- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and system integration
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Familiar with CI CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience working in Agile development environments
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and lead technical discussions
- Good communication skills and stakeholder management ability
