Key Responsibilities
- Support international expansion by building and maintaining scalable backend systems for Singapore and global markets
- Participate in architecture design and tech stack decisions for core backend modules
- Develop high-performance, highly available distributed systems with low latency and strong scalability
- Collaborate with global product, engineering, and operations teams to drive efficient delivery and continuous optimization
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 2+ years of backend development experience experience in global-facing products is a plus
- Proficient in Java or Go, with strong coding fundamentals and system design capability
- Familiar with common tech stack: MySQL, Redis, Kafka/RocketMQ, Elasticsearch
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and high-concurrency architecture
- Strong ownership and ability to drive end-to-end delivery across teams and regions
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, global environment
Nice to have (AI exposure):
- Experience using AI tools for coding, debugging, or system optimization
- Familiarity with AI agents, Vector DB, or AI-driven product scenarios
