Backend Engineer

We're hiring a Backend Engineer to join a highperforming engineering team at a global technology-driven organization, deploying to millions of users across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and aggregation.
• Build backend services to serve data efficiently to internal and external systems.
• Instrument systems for observability, logging, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with data scientists to ensure models are properly supported with the right data.
• Optimize system performance to handle large-scale traffic spikes.
• Contribute to migration efforts toward Kubernetes for scalability and automation.

Must Have Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Python/Java/Scala.
• Experience with distributed data systems in Spark/Kafka/Flink.
• Experience working on application processing large datasets.

Good to haves:

• Experience working in data engineering or data platform environments.
• Understanding of AI observability or monitoring tools.
• Experience in using Kubernetes at scale.
