Backend Developer

We are looking for an experiencedBackend Developerto design, develop, and support scalable enterprise backend applications and integrations. The ideal candidate has strong expertise inPython or Java, solid database development experience, and hands-on exposure to APIs, microservices, cloud/container environments, and production support within secure enterprise ecosystems.

This role involves working closely with business stakeholders, analysts, infrastructure teams, and fellow engineers to deliver reliable, secure, and high-performing backend solutions across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain backend applications and enterprise system integrations.
• Participate in the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Build scalable, secure, and high-performance applications usingPython or Javatechnologies.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, database schemas, and application performance.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices-based solutions.
• Support integrations between in-house systems and third-party/SaaS platforms.
• Collaborate with business users, analysts, and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
• Contribute to system architecture, technical design discussions, and backend solution strategies.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, deployment activities, and release management processes.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable fixes.
• Ensure compliance with coding standards, security policies, and development best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, technical documentation, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Work closely with infrastructure, cloud, and security teams within enterprise environments.
• Support application deployments and environments across Linux and container/cloud platforms.
  
  

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Approximately6–8 years of experiencein backend software development or related engineering roles.
• Strong programming experience in either:
  • Python
  • Java
    
    
• Strong experience with SQL and relational database development.
• Hands-on experience in:
  • Data modeling and query optimization
  • REST APIs and microservices architecture
  • CI/CD pipelines and SDLC processes
  • Secure application development practices
    
    
• Familiarity with:
  • Spring Boot
  • Hibernate
  • PostgreSQL
  • Linux environments
  • ECS Fargate or cloud/container platforms
    
    
• Understanding of deployment processes, firewall/security considerations, and production support operations.
