about the job:
In this role, you will be a key contributor to the core engine of our client's digital platforms. You will focus on the architectural integrity and functionality of server-side applications. Your day-to-day will involve:
- Building and refining high-performance backend services and business logic.
- Creating and maintaining seamless RESTful API integrations to link various systems and frontend interfaces.
- Architecting schemas and optimizing data access layers to ensure fluid system performance.
- Owning the end-to-end lifecycle of your code, from initial unit testing and peer reviews to supporting UAT and post-deployment stabilization.
- Keeping technical guides clear and updated to ensure system maintainability.
skills and experience required:
- Advanced proficiency in backend development using Python or Java (or both).
- Hands-on experience in designing and deploying RESTful services.
- Strong ability to manage database interactions and system integrations.
- Prior exposure to event-driven architectures or message queuing systems.
- Familiarity with Access Control (RBAC) and transaction management logic.
- A mindset for clean code, including experience in refactoring and managing technical debt.
- The ability to troubleshoot complex defects during SIT/UAT phases.
