Backend/AI Developer (HealthTech / Wearables)

We are currently undergoing a massive architectural transformation to enhance the performance and security of our microservices. Furthermore, we actively leverage AI agents and code generation in our daily development workflow.

We are looking for a strong Backend Developer to lead this transition, handle big data, and evolve our core system alongside AI assistants.

What You Will Do:

* Design new and support existing micro services Rust/Go: Rewrite existing microservices , and design new Ingestion and BFF services from scratch.

* AI-Driven Development: Actively use LLMs and AI agents for code generation, refactoring, and writing tests. You will act as a Tech Lead for our AI assistants.

* Work with Big Data: Optimize the storage and aggregation of millions of raw health metrics in ClickHouse.

* Integrations: Develop adapters to ingest data from our wearable devices (via Bluetooth/MQTT) and third-party SDKs 

* Asynchronous Architecture: Set up reliable communication between microservices using RabbitMQ and gRPC.

Our Stack:

* Languages: Rust (target stack: Actix-web, Tonic), Go (current legacy to be maintained and migrated).

* Databases: PostgreSQL (relational data, profiles, devices), ClickHouse (analytics, time-series data, metrics).

* Infrastructure: Kubernetes (ArgoCD), Docker, RabbitMQ, MQTT, gRPC, REST.

What We Expect From You:

* 4+ years of commercial backend development experience.

* Startup experience is a must.

* Basic proficiency in Rust, experience in backend development.

* Experience with Go (to understand the current codebase and successfully migrate/support it).

* Experience with AI code generation tools (Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT/Claude) and an agent gevelopment.

* Deep understanding of microservice architecture and integration patterns (CQRS, Event-Driven).

* Experience with columnar databases (ideally ClickHouse).

* Ability to write clean, testable code and take ownership of architectural decisions.

Nice to Have:

* Experience in HealthTech, MedTech, or IoT (hardware integration).

* Understanding of Time Series Data specifics.
