Back-End Engineer, User Growth (Gaming)

About Our Client

A Singapore-based mobile game publisher backed by a major gaming group with over 500 million registered users globally. The Singapore office leads international market expansion across SEA and beyond.

The Role

You will join the User Acquisition team to build and maintain the back-end systems that power paid acquisition campaigns - covering campaign management, user incentives, rewards distribution, and integration with advertising platforms. You will work closely with data and algorithm teams to optimize campaign delivery and support user growth at scale.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and develop back-end systems for user growth and paid acquisition platforms
• Build and maintain internal middleware, process systems, and APIs
• Ensure data consistency, security, and scalability across systems
• Optimize performance and resolve technical issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including front-end, data, and product

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field
• 3+ years of back-end development experience
• Proficient in Java or Golang (preferred) Python and PHP a plus
• Solid foundation in Linux, MySQL, RPC, MQ, caching, and microservice architecture
• Experience with paid acquisition or user growth systems is a strong advantage
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (JavaScript, React, Vue) is a plus
