About the Role - We're looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to build out and lead our backend efforts for Meteora. This is a senior/team-lead role. Today, Meteora has the best smart-contract or program engineers in all of Solana. We are thus attracting senior talent to join our team, to bolster a strong supportive infrastructure around our core programs.

Responsibilities

• Index Meteora's programs, to build out services that will be consumed by Meteora's frontend or partners such as Jupiter and more.
• Write or Maintain performant backend services that interact with Solana and scale well with usage, to conduct on-chain transactions for Meteora's programs.
• 10x our backend efforts, such as holding engineers to code standards or hiring additional talent.
• Develop monitoring and alerting systems to maintain high levels of system availability and performance

Required Skills

• Senior expertise, with the ability to build out a top-tier team
• Half a manager and half an individual contributor
• Excellent Proficiency in Rust, Golang, Nodejs and services like AWS, GCP, Azure
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
• Preferably based in GMT+8, especially Singapore or Malaysia
