Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for cross-border payment products and services (SWIFT, GPI, ISO20022, RTGS, ACH, correspondent banking, remittance, FX, etc.)
Work closely with business stakeholders, operations, technology, and vendor teams to translate requirements into functional and technical specifications
Support product design and solutioning for digital payment channels, APIs, and real-time cross-border flows
Conduct gap analysis, impact assessment, and data mapping between existing legacy systems and new platforms
Prepare BRD, FRD, user stories, and acceptance criteria ensuring alignment with regulatory frameworks (MAS, PSD2, FATF, AML/CFT)
Collaborate with QA teams for SIT/UAT test cases, defect triage, and sign-off
Participate in workshops with clients, regulators, and partner banks to drive end-to-end process improvements
Provide subject matter expertise on cross-border settlement flows, nostro/vostro accounts, liquidity management, FX, compliance, and reconciliation
Support implementation, change management, and post-go-live production validation
Requirements
An in-depth Business Analyst experience in banking, payments, or financial services
Strong understanding of cross-border payments ecosystem (SWIFT MT/MX, ISO 20022, GPI, RTGS, ACH, instant payments, correspondent banking)
Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements (MAS regulations, AML, KYC, sanctions screening, FATF)
Proficiency in requirement analysis, documentation (BRD/FRD), user stories, RTM, and business process modeling (BPMN/use cases)
Hands-on experience with payment systems, API connectivity, integration projects, and digital channels
Familiarity with treasury, FX, liquidity management, and nostro reconciliation preferred
Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills
Experience working in Agile/Waterfall environments
