Key Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare weekly menus (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) in consultation with the owner.
• Ensure sufficient raw ingredients are stocked and well stored.
• Oversee kitchen cleanliness and daily food preparation standards.
• Supervise and train helpers on proper food preparation, cooking methods, plating, and hygiene SOPs.
• Ensure proper table settings according to the day's menu.
• Prepare dining environment (including air-conditioning) before meals.
• Oversee meal service and ensure smooth coordination during dining times.
• Supervise post-meal cleaning of the kitchen and dining area.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of relevant cooking experience.
• Strong skills in preparing healthy Chinese cuisine (especially Cantonese and Teochew, home-cooked style).
• Flexible and adaptable in work arrangements.
