Job Summary
We are looking for an Azure Cloud Support Engineer (L2) to support and maintain cloud-based applications running on Microsoft Azure PaaS services. The role involves monitoring platform components, troubleshooting incidents, supporting API integrations, and ensuring the reliability and availability of Azure services used by business applications.
Responsibilities
- Deliver L2 operational support for applications hosted on Microsoft Azure to maintain service continuity and performance
- Monitor and troubleshoot Azure API Management (APIM) to resolve API connectivity, authentication policies, and gateway issues, ensuring seamless integration
- Investigate and resolve failures in Azure Data Factory pipelines and data integration workflows to maintain data processing reliability
- Administer and troubleshoot PaaS databases such as Cosmos DB and MongoDB to ensure database availability and performance
- Manage Azure App Registrations by configuring application permissions, client secrets, and authentication policies to secure application access
- Support Azure Application Gateway by monitoring backend health, configuring routing, and managing SSL certificates to optimize traffic flow and security
- Oversee Azure Blob Storage operations including container access, file transfers, and SFTP configurations to facilitate secure data storage and exchange
- Continuously monitor Azure services, investigate incidents, and perform root cause analysis to prevent recurrence and improve platform stability
- Collaborate with development teams to diagnose and resolve application platform and integration issues, enhancing overall system reliability
- Apply understanding of REST APIs, authentication mechanisms, and cloud networking concepts to support and troubleshoot cloud services effectively
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience with Azure AI services to support advanced cloud functionalities
- Familiarity with incident management and monitoring tools in cloud environments to enhance operational responsiveness
