AWS Platform Engineer (Lead)

Our client is seeking an AWS Platform Engineer to manage the end-to-end onboarding of AWS accounts into a secure, compliant AWS Control Tower Landing Zone. This role bridges application, cloud, and security teams to ensure governance, security, and operational readiness before production handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Own AWS account onboarding from intake to production
• Oversee account provisioning via AWS Control Tower
• Ensure security and compliance with CIS & AWS best practices
• Coordinate stakeholders and provide onboarding status updates
• Drive automation and process improvements

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in AWS/cloud platform delivery or operations
• Strong knowledge of AWS Control Tower, Organizations, IAM, networking, and security services
• Experience with IaC tools (Terraform / CloudFormation)
• Familiarity with CIS benchmarks and governance frameworks
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• AWS certifications are a plus
