Senior AWS Integration Engineer – Technical Lead
Key Responsibilities
- Design scalable and secure AWS-based integration architectures.
- Develop reusable integration patterns using AWS Glue, PySpark, Python, Lambda, and S3.
- Lead technical design and architecture decisions for enterprise integrations.
- Design ETL/data integration workflows using AWS Glue and PySpark.
- Develop serverless integrations using AWS Lambda.
- Design event-driven integrations using Step Functions and EventBridge.
- Establish reusable coding, integration, error-handling, and deployment patterns.
- Perform code reviews and provide technical guidance to other engineers.
- Ensure solutions meet scalability, security, performance, and maintainability requirements.
- Work with IAM, Secrets Manager, KMS, CloudWatch, and other AWS security/monitoring services.
- Support CI/CD implementation and automated deployment processes.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, business teams, and client stakeholders.
Required Skills
- 8–12+ years of software/data integration experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS Glue and PySpark.
- Strong Python development experience.
- Extensive experience with AWS Lambda and S3.
- Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns.
- Experience designing scalable AWS integration solutions.
- Strong knowledge of REST/API and file-based integrations.
- Experience with Step Functions, EventBridge, CloudWatch, IAM, Secrets Manager, and KMS.
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Strong technical design and code-review capabilities.
- Excellent communication and technical leadership skills.
Preferred
- Experience with SFTP/file-based enterprise integrations.
- Experience with AWS networking and security concepts.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience working with enterprise-scale integration platforms.
- Experience leading offshore/onshore technical teams.
