ROLES AND REPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with expertise in AWS (Amazon Web Service), SQL to play a pivotal role in a modernization project to revamp an on-prem portal to AWS. As a Business Analyst, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to analyze, plan, and execute the modernization of on prem legacy application to AWS cloud infrastructure. Your insights and guidance will be critical to ensure a seamless and successful migration process.

. Requirement Gathering Conduct user story grooming, collaborating with business stakeholders to understand their requirements for revamping the portal. Analyze existing feature functionalities and identify data dependencies and turn into detailed user story. Ensure user story readiness before development sprint.

. Solution Design Work closely with solution architects, framework teams and developers to design the solution that aligns with the business needs. Ensure the development team delivers solutions aligned with user story requirements and acceptance criteria.

. Testing Regularly review the test cases to reflect changes in the project scope. Determine the types of data needed to thoroughly test the feature's functionalities, including boundary value, error value and standard use case data. Ensure test executions are carried out as planned.

. Risk Assessment Identify potential risks and challenges throughout the grooming phase or during development sprints. Develop mitigation plans and contingency strategies.

. Documentation and Reporting Create and maintain the user stories and test cases. Ensure user stories are consistently updated to capture all relevant business and technical requirements, and that corresponding test cases are maintained and kept current within the project tool. Provide regular updates to supervisor and product owner and highlight if there is any deviation from the plan.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

. Minimum a bachelor's degree in a relevant of study

. Proven experience as a Business Analyst in IT projects.

. Knowledge in AWS services, cloud architecture and best practices.

. Experience in Agile delivery practices is preferred, with familiarity in sprint planning, backlog management and iterative development.

. Ability to work effectively with cross-function teams and adapt to changing project requirements.

. Possession of AWS certifications will be an added advantage.

. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Must have skills: AWS, SQL, Agile delivery
