We are seeking an AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with strong Linux administration experience to manage and support secure AWS cloud environments. The role focuses on AWS infrastructure operations, RHEL administration, security hardening, vulnerability management, and production support within a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2, EBS, S3, IAM, Security Groups, Load Balancers, and CloudWatch.
- Administer and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers.
- Perform OS patching, system upgrades, and scheduled maintenance activities.
- Implement Linux and AWS security hardening in accordance with security and compliance requirements.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, remediation, and security reviews.
- Monitor system health, performance, logs, and operational alerts.
- Manage SSL certificates, renewals, and deployment activities.
- Support incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and connectivity issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Maintain technical documentation, procedures, and operational runbooks.
Requirements
- AWS Certification (Associate level or higher).
- Red Hat Certification (RHCSA, RHCE, or equivalent).
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in AWS cloud infrastructure and Linux administration.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, IAM, S3, CloudWatch, and Load Balancers.
- Strong knowledge of RHEL administration, system hardening, patch management, and security best practices.
- Experience in vulnerability remediation, compliance activities, and production support.
- Good troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Singapore Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) environments.
- Familiarity with Government security and compliance requirements.
- Experience with Terraform, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Additional AWS or Red Hat certifications.
