AWS Cloud Architect

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Lead major opportunities and large-scale deals by developing AWS-centric architectural solutions and high-level designs that address client needs, non-functional requirements and business outcomes.

· Define cloud strategies aligned to customer goals, with a strong focus on AWS migration, application modernisation, platform engineering and hybrid cloud adoption.

· Engage confidently in multi-cloud conversations, including Azure landscapes, to advise clients on workload placement, integration patterns, governance, resilience and cost optimisation.

· Lead and participate in proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives for AWS, Azure and adjacent technologies, validating architecture choices against business and technical requirements.

· Collaborate with account, delivery and pricing teams to create solution estimates, migration roadmaps and value-led propositions for enterprise transformation programs.

· Drive architecture governance by establishing reference patterns, security controls, identity models, networking principles and operational guardrails across cloud environments.
