AVP/VP Relationship Manager (Taiwan Desk) - Regional Bank - Singapore

A regional corporate bank with a growing presence in Singapore is looking to appoint an experienced Corporate Relationship Manager to cover the Taiwanese Desk within its Corporate Banking team.

This role focuses on managing relationships with Taiwanese corporates operating across Singapore and the region, supporting cross-border banking needs while driving lending transactions and broader corporate banking solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow relationships with Taiwanese corporate clients, acting as the primary coverage banker

• Originate and execute lending transactions including bilateral and syndicated facilities

• Support cross-border banking activities between Taiwan, Singapore, and the wider region

• Drive cross-sell opportunities across trade finance, cash management, and treasury solutions

• Lead credit origination, financial analysis, and preparation of credit proposals for internal approval

• Monitor portfolio performance, client credit quality, and risk exposure

Requirements

• 7-12 years of Corporate Banking experience, ideally covering Taiwanese corporates or North Asia clients

• Strong credit fundamentals with experience in structured lending and deal execution

• Familiarity with corporate banking products including trade finance and cash management

• Mandarin proficiency is required as the role involves regular communication with Taiwanese corporate clients and counterparts in Taiwan.
