Position Summary
The Investment Advisor is responsible for providing personalised investment advice and wealth management solutions to individual and institutional clients. The role involves assessing clients financial objectives, risk tolerance, and investment horizons to develop tailored investment strategies that help achieve their long-term financial goals. The Investment Advisor also builds and maintains strong client relationships while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and the firm's policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with high-net-worth and affluent clients.
- Conduct comprehensive financial and investment needs analyses.
- Assess clients risk profiles, financial circumstances, and investment objectives.
- Recommend appropriate investment products across various asset classes.
- Construct and manage diversified investment portfolios aligned with client objectives.
- Monitor portfolio performance and recommend adjustments based on market conditions and changes in client circumstances.
- Provide regular portfolio reviews and investment updates to clients.
- Stay informed about global financial markets, economic developments, and investment trends.
- Ensure all investment recommendations comply with regulatory standards and internal compliance policies.
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
- Identify opportunities to deepen client relationships through additional wealth management products and services.
- Participate in networking, client seminars, and business development activities to acquire new clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CFA or equivalent are preferred.
- Relevant licensing as required by local financial regulators.
- 4 to 8 years of experience in investment advisory, private banking or wealth management.
