Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • To implement credit control in areas of monitoring price of commodities, dissemination of market information, full oversight of due date management control, and timely circulation of reports for management's approval.
  • To monitor various due dates relating to credit transactions and confirm settlement of transactions with assistance of the back office
  • To register the approved conditions to GGS system, accurately for FI lines, and maintain accurate exposure control of FI trade transactions
  • Perform detailed checks and execute financial institution (FI) transactions, ARP and PG within the approved control limits and credit approval parameters, including limit reservation, raising checklist for compliance screening, checking and issuance of instruction sheet, limit registration in T24, settlement and reconciliation in the Global Gateway System (GGS).
  • Prepare reports based on requests and/or requirements of GTFD Management, marketing officers and provide responses to various audit requests.
  • To conduct and follow through end-to-end on KYC profiles/cases and to ensure quality completion in a timely manner for all Corporates and FI accounts in accordance with the Bank's policies as well as with Regulator's
  • To manage, plan ahead, prioritize and track on upcoming periodic review and liaise with RMs on document collection
  • To conduct transactions control checks/searches, pre and post vessels checks, etc.

Job Requirements

  • Recognised university degree with 5 to 7 years of equivalent experience in the banking industry.
  • Knowledge of credit control monitoring, AML/KYC and sanctions
  • Team player
  • Meticulous and possess good analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Good communication skills and able to interact with colleagues of all levels.
  • Works independently as well as within the team with the ability to multi-task, prioritise and work under pressure.
