Job Description

  • Partner with Investment Services Private and Public Markets Department to provide best-in-class technology and data solutions.
  • Identify challenges, opportunities, and gaps in the business processes and helps build technology strategy and roadmap to address them
  • Plan and manage the technical tasks and schedules to ensure delivery throughout the product lifecycle
  • Help define and shape the technology strategy, target architecture and technology roadmap
  • Be responsible for designing and delivering advanced solutions that incorporate a diverse range of technologies. You will use a combination of agile and planned approaches to provide innovative solutions that meet the specific needs of the private markets business
  • Actively keep up to date with new technologies and promote the adoption of new initiatives
  • Ensure security compliance by design and timely patching and upgrades

What makes you a successful candidate

  • Minimum of 8 years professional experience in implementing large scale distributed applications
  • Experience in leading and inspiring cross-functional software development teams
  • Strong knowledge of DevOps Platform tooling and secure coding practices
  • Hands-on experience designing distributed systems and Cloud native applications
  • In-depth understanding of coding languages such as C#, Java
  • Would be beneficial to have a strong understanding with practical experience in the following areas:
  • One or more public cloud offerings (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.), messaging infrastructure (Kafka, RabbitMQ), databases, etc.
  • Cloud native architecture styles (domain-driven design, microservices, serverless)
  • Infrastructure as Code (Container Orchestration, Observability, CI/CD)
  • Modern API platform design (REST, gRPC, etc.)
  • Have an understanding of the Financial Services sector
  • Understanding of open-source and AI/ML platforms and tools for feasibility of usage and integration from an infrastructure perspective is advantageous
  • Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) related discipline is advantageous
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies and practices such as Scrum, Kanban or Test-Driven Development
