- Partner with Investment Services Private and Public Markets Department to provide best-in-class technology and data solutions.
- Identify challenges, opportunities, and gaps in the business processes and helps build technology strategy and roadmap to address them
- Plan and manage the technical tasks and schedules to ensure delivery throughout the product lifecycle
- Help define and shape the technology strategy, target architecture and technology roadmap
- Be responsible for designing and delivering advanced solutions that incorporate a diverse range of technologies. You will use a combination of agile and planned approaches to provide innovative solutions that meet the specific needs of the private markets business
- Actively keep up to date with new technologies and promote the adoption of new initiatives
- Ensure security compliance by design and timely patching and upgrades
What makes you a successful candidate
- Minimum of 8 years professional experience in implementing large scale distributed applications
- Experience in leading and inspiring cross-functional software development teams
- Strong knowledge of DevOps Platform tooling and secure coding practices
- Hands-on experience designing distributed systems and Cloud native applications
- In-depth understanding of coding languages such as C#, Java
- Would be beneficial to have a strong understanding with practical experience in the following areas:
- One or more public cloud offerings (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.), messaging infrastructure (Kafka, RabbitMQ), databases, etc.
- Cloud native architecture styles (domain-driven design, microservices, serverless)
- Infrastructure as Code (Container Orchestration, Observability, CI/CD)
- Modern API platform design (REST, gRPC, etc.)
- Have an understanding of the Financial Services sector
- Understanding of open-source and AI/ML platforms and tools for feasibility of usage and integration from an infrastructure perspective is advantageous
- Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) related discipline is advantageous
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies and practices such as Scrum, Kanban or Test-Driven Development
