Job Description

The Senior Manager/Assistant Vice President, Procurement (Category Management) is responsible for the development, implementation & delivery of sourcing strategies in the area of ICT (Information, Communication & Technology) to maximise value for the organisation. The candidate is expected to strategically manage ICT-related global spend across all business areas by applying best-in-class and innovative procurement levers. There will be regular collaboration opportunities with senior-level internal stakeholders to secure buy-in on these procurement levers, fostering alignment and driving organizational impact. Managing strategic suppliers relationships and contracts to ensure delivery performance to agreed scope and service levels is also required.


Responsibilitie

  • :Develop and implement a comprehensive category management enterprise strategy, adopting best-in-class and innovative levers to maximize category management across various complex business areas
  • .Build a clear understanding of all the various natures of ICT spend in totality, primarily in Procure-to-Sell including Procure-to-Consume buys
  • .Engage with multiple business areas to understand their unique procurement needs and challenges. Build relationships with business stakeholders to develop insights of potential spend aggregation and identify sourcing opportunities that leverage on enterprise scale and synergie
  • sCollaborate with internal business stakeholders to ensure appropriate strategies are deployed where a tailored approach for some business areas may be required and identify future requirements in alignment with business strateg
  • yLead negotiations with key suppliers to ensure favourable terms, right quality and best price with cost savings
  • .Develop and continuously grow effective strategic partnerships with key supplier
  • sAdopt and utilize advanced data analytics to identify cost savings opportunities across the enterprise globally by partnering and influencing stakeholders for enterprise value creatio

  • s:Degree in Engineering / Commerce / Supply Chain / Business Administration from a well-recognised Educational Institutio
  • n.At least eight (8) years of experience in Procurement ro

  • esHas led both regional and global supplier negotiations, supplier relationship development and contract management across multiple business are
