Responsible for delivery of Application Services for Mizuho Bank, Singapore Branch (MHBKSG).
Drive technical strategy, systems resiliency and security, and align development efforts with SGAD IT strategic plan.
As Product Owner, will also need to lead a team of developers to achieve these results.
Partners with intragroup and 3rd-party providers to deliver resilient applications services to MHBKSG and other business and functional units that MHBKSG supports.
Experienced and technically adept Product Owner to drive the delivery and evolution of digital products for corporate clients and internal operation users. The successful candidate will have a strong background in solution architecture, project delivery, and stakeholder management, with proven experience in leading cross-functional teams to deliver impactful business solutions.

Managerial Excellence (30%)
- Project Delivery & Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams (engineering, UX, business, vendors) through the full product lifecycle: ideation, development, launch, and ongoing enhancement. Ensure that employees understand the goals, embrace the values, and support and reinforce the expected behaviors that contribute to the success of the bank.
- Support team members to deliver application services successfully and sustainably, and keep them focused on the business priorities and values creation.

Project Planning & Execution (30%)
- Product Ownership & Strategy: Define and own the product vision, roadmap, and strategy in alignment with business objectives. Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into actionable product features.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful end-to-end delivery
- Deliver application services sustainably, complying with enterprise IT controls and applicable regulations, specifically Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).
Strategic Planning (20%)
- Technical/Functional Management: Oversee technical architecture and solution design, collaborating closely with engineering teams.
- Business Analysis: Participate and assist in product development projects and continue to support with any issues arising after product delivery
- Road map: Assist in planning, preparation and continuous refinement of the product roadmap (short, mid and long terms)
- Assist in preparation of management reports to update key stakeholders, obtain buy-ins and support and address raised concerns and issues
Relationships & Communication (20%)
- Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Liaise with internal business units, external clients, and vendors to ensure seamless product integration and delivery. Facilitate clear communication and alignment between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Influence and drive strategic technical decisions, aligning with business goals.
- Provide timely management reporting and updates on all material issues.
- Manage relationships with intragroup and 3rd-party providers.
- Engage with regulator(s), as needed.
Requirements
Experience
- 8+ years experience in product management, solution architecture, or technical leadership role
- Familiar with MAS technology risk and outsourcing notices.
- Experience working with node.js / java spring boot project teams is a plus
Skills
- Familiar with modern product development tools to articulate functional architecture, business flow
- Understand big picture and communicate vision and goals with passion.
- Excellent oral and written skills in English.
Education
- Tertiary degree in technology or equivalent in Computer Engineering from a recognized educational institution.
