Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Legal professional to join the in-house legal team. The successful candidate will assist with reviewing and drafting legal documentation, transaction support and general legal tasks.
Job Description
- Review and/or draft and/or negotiate legal documents (e.g. NDAs, service agreements, product term sheets).
- Support transactional work including tracking document status, following up with internal and external stakeholders, and compiling execution versions.
- Assist in managing contract databases, document management systems, and legal records.
- Conduct basic legal and regulatory research, as required.
- Provide support to internal departments (e.g. compliance, operations, front office) to respond to legal queries.
- Perform administrative duties for the legal team such as scheduling, filing, and invoice tracking.
Requirements
- Singapore-qualified lawyer with minimum 7 years PQE
- Experience in a financial institution is preferred
- Familiar with the Securities and Futures Act 2001, Securities and Futures (Licensing and Conduct of Business) Regulations, Financial Services and Markets Act 2022, Financial Advisers Act and Companies Act 1967
- Meticulous, proactive, and able to manage deadlines across multiple workstreams.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word).
