AVP (Japanese Speaking, M&A)

Brief Summary:

Join a dynamic advisory team focused on facilitating overseas business development and investments. This role seeks a knowledgeable professional to drive strategic initiatives in the APAC region, enhancing client relationships and market opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and promote advisory services for clients in the APAC region, with a particular focus on East Asia (Mainland China, Taiwan, Korea).
• Support Chinese companies aiming to invest in ASEAN through market analysis and consultation.
• Collaborate with internal departments to create pitch materials that drive business initiatives.
• Partner with Relationship Managers to deliver customized solutions and advisory services to Japanese Regional Headquarters companies in Singapore.
• Lead and execute research and consulting projects tailored to Japanese clients, aligning with their expansion goals within Singapore.
• Coordinate knowledge-sharing efforts and preparation of impactful proposals for clients and internal use.
• Mentor junior staff and promote a collaborative team environment.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, economics, or related fields.
• Relevant experience in business consulting or research analysis within a specific sector.
• Previous involvement in advisory roles concerning M&A origination or foreign direct investment projects is advantageous.
• Fluent in Japanese for communication with Japan-based counterparts and headquarters.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to undertake business travel across the APAC regions, including East Asia, Southeast Asia, India, Oceania, and Japan.
