Based in Singapore, you will be the guardian of the firm's information barriers. You will manage the flow of inside information, mitigate conflicts of interest, and ensure all trading and investment activities comply with absolute regulatory integrity. This is a highly visible role requiring direct engagement with senior investment professionals, portfolio managers, and global legal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and oversee the firm's Restricted List, Watch List, and Insider Lists. Evaluate incoming deal flow and wall-crossing requests to ensure strict segregation of material non-public information (MNPI).
- Reviewing settled or executed fixed-income and equity trades using platforms like Bloomberg AIM or Charles River.
- Oversight and detect potential insider trading, market abuse, or breaches of information barriers.
- Ensure the Control Room framework aligns with the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) guidelines (including the Securities and Futures Act) and global best practices. Update policies as market regulations evolve.
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of compliance experience within an investment bank, asset manager, or private equity firm.
- Exceptional discretion and judgment. You must possess the confidence to challenge senior stakeholders and investment professionals firmly but diplomatically.
