Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and govern the Singapore Hub HSSE strategy, policies, frameworks, and management systems to ensure effective risk management, regulatory compliance, and operational resilience.
  • Provide enterprise-wide oversight of Safety Management System (SMS) effectiveness, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements, corporate standards, and industry best practices.
  • Champion a proactive safety culture by embedding HSSE accountability and risk ownership across all business units and leadership levels.
  • Direct certification and assurance programmes, including ISO45001, ISAGO, and other relevant standards, ensuring continued accreditation and organizational readiness.
  • Oversee the Hub's HSSE audit, inspection, and compliance programme, ensuring effective governance, risk visibility, and timely resolution of findings.
  • Lead governance and oversight of significant incidents, investigations, and systemic risk events, ensuring robust root-cause analysis, organizational learning, and sustainable corrective actions.
  • Drive the use of HSSE data, analytics, and performance insights to identify emerging risks, inform strategic decision-making, and improve organizational performance.
  • Provide strategic advisory support to senior leadership, translating complex HSSE risks and regulatory developments into actionable business recommendations.
  • Represent the organization in engagements with regulators, customers, industry bodies, and key stakeholders on matters relating to HSSE governance, compliance, and performance.
  • Develop organizational HSSE capability and leadership, ensuring effective succession planning, professional development, and continuous improvement across the function.

Key Requirements

  • Proven track record in leading enterprise-wide HSSE excellence initiatives and aviation safety strategies.
  • Strong expertise in aviation safety principles and practices, with internal auditor qualifications or experience considered an advantage.
  • Demonstrated capability in coaching and developing safety professionals, fostering high standards while maintaining operational accountability within business functions.
  • Excellent change management and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and drive organization-wide adoption of new practices and initiatives.
  • Strong strategic, financial, and systems-thinking abilities, with experience in identifying value, measuring impact, and delivering sustainable outcomes through robust governance and execution.
  • Experience working in highly regulated, safety-critical, or customer service-oriented environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Science, or a related discipline.
  • At least 15 years of relevant professional experience.
