Responsibilities
- Assist in reviewing NAV packs, capital account statements, and financial statements prepared by fund administrators.
- Conduct thorough analysis of NAV movements and investigate discrepancies, ensuring reconciliation with administrators and stakeholders.
- Prepare NAV review working papers, supporting schedules, and exception reports for management oversight.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and audit trails to support the NAV oversight process.
- Support the development and improvement of NAV review controls, procedures, and operational processes.
- Perform regular reconciliation of cash, loan positions, and investor records with manager, administrator, and bank records.
- Prepare payment instructions and fund-level calculations, adhering to the four-eye control framework.
- Administer loan investments and fund-level financing facilities by tracking key financing terms and coordinating operational matters with various stakeholders.
- Assist in coordinating annual audits across funds and provide necessary data for tax compliance and financial reporting.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
- Professional qualifications such as CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent are advantageous.
- 3-6 years of relevant experience in fund operations, fund accounting, audit, fund administration, or asset management.
- Strong understanding of fund accounting principles, NAV reviews, reconciliations, and fund reporting processes.
- Preferred experience in reviewing administrator-prepared NAVs and financial statements.
- Familiarity with private funds, credit funds, real estate funds, loan products, or SPVs is beneficial.
- Proficient in Excel with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to identify, investigate, and resolve fund accounting and NAV-related issues.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
