AVP Event Manager

Our client is a leading global investment bank with a strong presence across Asia Pacific and the Middle East. They're looking for an experienced Event Manager to join their in-house regional events team, based in Singapore.

The role

You'll own the end-to-end delivery per year across South East Asia, with travel for flagship client events across APAC and the Middle East. Events range from client conferences and seminars to hospitality programmes and internal engagement initiatives. You'll work closely with business stakeholders to understand what they need, then design and deliver experiences that land.

Day-to-day this means managing venues, vendors, production, speakers, delegates, and on-site logistics. You'll also oversee post-event analysis and reporting to track ROI and inform future planning.

What you'll be doing

• Designing and delivering events across formats: conferences, product launches, client entertainment, sponsored programmes, and internal events
• Managing hospitality through owned sponsorship assets and brokered arrangements
• Advising internal stakeholders as a genuine events expert, not just an executor
• Building and maintaining supplier and industry relationships to stay current on trends, venues, and best practices
• Identifying and managing risk throughout the planning process
• Keeping the event management platform updated for accurate reporting

What they're looking for

• Solid, hands-on event management experience, including budget ownership, stakeholder management, and logistics
• Strong project management skills, ideally across complex, multi-market events
• Excellent communication and the confidence to push back, present options, and influence senior stakeholders
• Native English proficiency; a second business language is a plus
• Right to work in Singapore (sponsorship is not available for this role)
