The AI Research Scientist within AI Labs is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-impact AI products and capabilities that address strategic business challenges. The role focuses on advancing enterprise-level AI solutions through applied research, experimentation, and scalable product development.
AI Research & Capability Development
- Conduct applied research to develop advanced AI and data science capabilities with enterprise-wide impact.
- Design, prototype, and refine performant AI models through experimentation and agile development approaches.
- Translate research outcomes into production-ready products aligned with strategic priorities.
Product & Solution Delivery
- Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, technology teams, and business units to deliver business-driven AI solutions.
- Develop and execute product roadmaps and delivery plans aligned with project and business objectives.
- Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, and reliability requirements.
Advanced Analytics & Modeling
- Build and deploy deep learning models for real-world use cases such as voice-to-text, LLM-based analytics, and generative AI agents.
- Apply advanced modeling techniques including reinforcement learning, causal inference, Bayesian methods, and econometric modeling.
- Develop robust forecasting, portfolio management, and decision-support models.
Technology & Innovation Leadership
- Stay current with emerging state-of-the-art AI technologies, tools, architectures, and industry best practices.
- Evaluate new methodologies and frameworks for adoption into enterprise AI capabilities.
- Provide technical advisory and thought leadership on data science and AI topics.
Stakeholder & Advisory Support
- Engage stakeholders to understand business problems and translate them into data-driven AI solutions.
- Provide expert guidance on AI feasibility, design choices, and implementation considerations.
- Support adoption of AI solutions through clear articulation of analytical insights and outcomes.
Experience & Qualifications
- Postgraduate degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related quantitative discipline.
- Minimum five years of advanced data science or AI research experience, preferably within financial services or research-intensive environments.
- Strong end-to-end experience in AI product or capability research and development.
- Demonstrated expertise in deep learning, Python programming, and large-scale data processing.
- Experience delivering data science solutions using agile methodologies.
