AVP, Cybersecurity Engineering

I'm currently partnering with a financial services organisation that is looking to hire an AVP, Cybersecurity Engineering to join their regional security team in Singapore. This role will focus on strengthening enterprise security capabilities, working across infrastructure, cloud environments, and security platforms to improve the overall security posture. You will also be involved in driving security initiatives, implementing security technologies, and collaborating with internal teams and vendors across the region.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement security controls across enterprise infrastructure and platforms
• Drive security engineering initiatives and security technology implementations
• Identify security gaps and lead remediation efforts to strengthen security posture
• Manage and optimise security tools within the environment
• Support security reviews, risk mitigation activities, and compliance requirements

Requirements:

• Around 7 years of cybersecurity or information security experience
• Experience working with security tools such as FireMon, Illumio, Pentera, CyberArk or similar technologies
• Exposure to areas such as IAM, Zero Trust, security hardening, cloud security, or data protection
• Candidates from System Integrators delivering security solutions for enterprise clients are also encouraged to apply
