AVP, Credit Risk

Our client, a fast-growing digital bank, is seeking an AVP, Credit Risk to support the development of data-driven credit risk strategies across the retail lending lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement credit risk and fraud strategies across originations, portfolio management, and collections
• Develop analytics-driven decision frameworks including cut-offs, pricing, and customer segmentation
• Monitor portfolio performance and ensure alignment with risk appetite and regulatory requirements
• Partner with Product, Analytics, Data, and Technology teams on risk initiatives and implementation
• Support governance, documentation, and approval processes for risk strategies

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in credit risk strategy, analytics, or retail risk management
• Strong understanding of unsecured lending and retail credit risk
• Experience in credit risk modelling (PD, LGD, EAD) and portfolio analytics
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills
• Exposure to AI / machine learning within credit risk is advantageous
