Job Description

We are seeking an Assistant Vice President, Credit Administration to manage credit documentation and administrative processes within a dynamic financial environment. The role involves preparing, reviewing, and executing facility letters, security documentation, and related credit papers in line with approved applications, internal policies, regulatory standards, and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the drafting, review, processing, and execution of facility letters, security agreements, and other credit documents, ensuring alignment with approved applications, internal policies, regulatory standards, and legal requirements.
  • Closely monitor documentation progress and proactively drive turnaround times to support business needs and growth objectives.
  • Handle credit limit and static data updates in systems, including quarterly cash surrender values, fire insurance policies, and proper safekeeping of documentation to ensure completeness and timely perfection of securities.
  • Review and manage issuance, amendments, cancellations, and claims related to Bank Guarantees and Standby Letters of Credit.
  • Prepare periodic management and regulatory reports, and provide support during audit reviews.
  • Assist with credit administration tasks and participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) when required.

Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in Banking, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience in credit administration, documentation, or related financial operations, ideally at the AVP level.
  • Strong background in private banking credit documentation, with knowledge of property, insurance, and structured deals.
  • Hands‑on experience in processing and reviewing Bank Guarantees and Standby Letters of Credit.
  • Independent, detail‑oriented, and able to deliver under tight deadlines.
  • Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
  • Excellent written, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
