Avionics Technician is responsible for performing technical repair, overhaul and modification of Line Replaceable Units in a timely manner meeting company goals and targets
. Experiences in troubleshooting electronic products in workshop environment
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Conduct regular functional/self test, calibration of Automated/Manual Test Equipment.
Perform modification in accordance to service bulletins on LRUs as and when required
Troubleshoot customer's unit and return it to serviceable condition in the most efficient manner.
Verify and ensure all repairs or modifications carried out conform to quality and workmanship standards.
Maintain good housekeeping practices at work place and test benches at all time
Carry out duties as assigned by the Supervisor to meet the team's objectives.
Supports and promotes continuous process improvement and CORE initiatives.
Guide junior technicians on daily routine work and troubleshooting avionics equipment
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Minimum NITEC in Electronics
Able to read digital and analog electronics circuitry.
Ability to interpret schematic diagrams, troubleshoot and repair PCB assembly down to component level.
Competent to conduct tests according to the Component Maintenance Manual.
Able to interpret, evaluate test results and write test report.
Understands safety requirements and performs duties in accordance with all safety procedures.
Conducts activities in accordance with Rockwell Collins Credo, Ethics and Standards of Business Conduct, and other established Rockwell Collins policies.
Properly prioritizes jobs in his/her purview and manages time to meet production needs.
